The Town Hall and Fire Department is located at 1812 County Highway 34 in the old Westford school. It serves as the meeting place for several local organizations, including the Planning Board, the Westford Community Association, Fire Department and it's Auxiliary. The Town Clerk’s Office and Town Court are also in the Town Hall.

Town Board
Town Board Meetings occur on the second Monday of each month at 7 PM.
Unless otherwise published, the 2024 Town Board Meetings will be held at the Town Hall at 1812 County Highway 34 in the Hamlet of Westford.
The regular meeting is called to order at 7 PM. Bills will be processed after the conclusion of regular business.

Around Town
Westford is located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains in the eastern portion of Otsego County, New York State. Nestled in the rolling hills is a community of agricultural enterprises, hamlets, scattered rural residences, and various small and home-based businesses.
The town has an ongoing agricultural tradition, with dairy farms, organic beef and vegetable farms, and sugar maple farms continuing that tradition. These enterprises contribute to Westford's rural character and open spaces.
Parks
Families enjoy recreation at Gopher Field, Busacker Park, and Betty and Wilber Davis State Park.
Gopher Field includes a youth soccer field and Little League field.
Busacker Park boasts a pavilion available for picnics located next to the Town Hall/Fire Department.
Betty and Wilber Davis State Park includes hiking trails, catch-and-release fishing, a playground, and an events pavilion. Six lovely log cabins are available for lodging.
The Schenevus Central School District traces its roots back to 1800 when the first log cabin schoolhouse was built in the area. The area boasts a rich educational history, including being the birthplace of Andrew S. Draper, who was New York’s first Commissioner of Education in 1904. The district was called the Andrew S. Draper Central School District from 1938 to 1993.
The district educates around 275 students in grades K-12. We provide our students with a rich learning experience steeped in the area’s history, while also providing a variety of extracurricular and athletic opportunities to help all our students succeed.
Schenevus CSD is located in beautiful Otsego County, New York, encompassing the towns of Maryland and Westford.

About
According to the latest Census, Westford is home to approximately 870 people. Westford enjoys one of the fastest growth rates in the county, with a population increase of nearly 100% since 1970, when the population was 435. The population centers are the hamlets of Westford and Westville, on the western boundary with the Town of Middlefield.
